Recommended Reading

These days I haven't had a ton of time to do any pleasure reading. Most of my time is spent reading books to Harper. I get bored reading the same old things. I love to go to the library and grab a few random books off the shelf and see if they are any good. That has led to some of my faves.

Charlie's Superhero Underpants by Paul Bright:

This is a cute story about a boy who's superhero underwear blow away and he has to travel the globe to find them. I love the rhythm of the rhyme. It's totally different and really cute.

Sock Monkey Goes to Hollywood by Cece Bell:

We picked this one up randomly at half-priced books. It has some cute characters, and a total surprise twist at the end. Plus there's lots of opportunities to do some character voices.
Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney:

There is a whole series of these llama llama books. The illustrations crack me up. The little llama looks so awkward as he ventures through life with his llama mama.

For any of you looking to spice up bedtime, I would definitely recommend you pick one of these up.
