Weekly Check In - 80 Days Left

Whew...what a week. I was sick the whole first half of the week which put a serious damper on my workout goals. It did however help curb my appetite. Somehow this combination allows me to reveal...

Current Weight: 152 lbs.
WHAT! That's right. Apparently strep throat is the miracle way to lose 5 pounds.
Current Weight Loss: 6 pounds
Pounds to go: 7

To be fair, I did weigh in first thing in the morning, but never has that produced a 5 pound swing before. I guess all this watching what I'm eating business really pays off.

CHEERS
  • Even though I was sick, I was able to stick to healthy eating instead of giving in to comfort food.
  • When we had friends over for dinner they were kind enough to let me persuade them to go to a deli where I could get a salad instead of eating pizza.
  • I ate a healthy breakfast every day and have already made a batch of low fat cranberry orange muffins for this week

JEERS

  • Only two trips to the gym. Not cool.
  • Still not great at the water intake, but I did drink quite a bit of tea
  • I allowed myself to indulge in one of my valentine favorites...candy hearts. They were delish.

I have a major goal for this week. I need to not go overboard on Super Bowl Sunday. If anyone has tips on how to avoid eating major calories from delicious football snackage, I would totally appreciate it.

go Nikki! I love candy hearts.. the Necco are my favorite but so SO hard to find.
