The Results are In.....

and I passed. My OB's office called today to let me know they got my glucose tolerance results and everything looks good. I am so relieved. I was pretty worried. I know gestational diabetes is only a temporary condition, but I think I was freaking out because I haven't really had any problems during this pregnancy, and I didn't want my first one to be such a big one. I'm glad to have that weight off my shoulders.

To celebrate, Joe and I called up some friends and headed into Grandview to check out Trattoria Roma, an authentic Italian place.

It was really good! I had a coupon for $20 of a bill of $70, so it was decently priced as well. It was nice having a night out with another couple although I didn't partake in any of the wine they were drinking. It was a great way to celebrate my results...

Now for a little dessert.
