This Saturday I am headed to Cincinnati for the Bengals playoff game! WooHoo. Bad news, it'll be about 8 degrees during the game. I have my usual layering and hand warmers, but I was wondering if you all had any other stay warm tips. I am concerned about being it that frigid of weather for so long, especially for the baby's sake. I asked the doc about it, and was reassured that the baby will be fine, but I still want to take some extra precautions.
So I reach out to all of you...how do you stay warm when you have to be in the cold for a long time?

I went to a late season game at UofM. I layered it up with long johns, another layer of clothes and my down puffy winter jacket. I started burning up within the first quarter. Since UofM stadium is bench seating, you are shoved right next to the person beside you - everyone's body heat warmed me up too - so I ended up taking off my winter coat and being comfortable. Dress in layers so you can take things off - a scarf, hat and mittens are a must. I also like using the back heat for sore backs and sticking it on my clothes. They are usually found a a CVS or Walgreens. Have fun!
My tip. Don't go. Haha. No football team is worth sitting in 8 degree weather.
Dude. I'm from South Texas. I've got nothing.
I agree with Mrs. EyeCanSee.... Don't go. And since Joe will then have an extra ticket, let me call off work Saturday.... Who Dey!
