Saturday night, Joe and I were hurtin' for something to do...so we decided to do something we've never done before. We went to an OSU men's volleyball game.
It was pretty fun. It's free to get in, there isn't a crowd, and they sold the largest packs of Starbursts I've ever seen. All in all a good night.
Today we decided to get started on the last project we want to do in the house, remodeling our master bathroom.
We've decided to do this in two phases, phase one being the floor and the vanity, stage two being the shower. Here's our goal:
1. Demo and plan this weekend.
1b. Convince Joe to paint one night after work....this is my goal, he would be happy not painting or waiting. I think it makes sense to just do it now when we have nothing in there. We'll see if I'm successful. I'd do it myself if it weren't one of those things frowned upon for pregnant ladies.
2. Lay floor next weekend.
3. Install vanity and sinks the weekend after that.
Three weekends is not a bad timeline. If everything goes to plan, we should have a great start on our bathroom by mid February.
