Mother's Day at the Zoo

Seriously...what a difference a year makes. Here's Harper on my first Mother's Day last year.

And here was us spending a fantastic day at the zoo this year.

It was Harper's first trip to the zoo. All in all, she did great. It was a little tough because she wanted to be out of her stroller exploring, but she can't walk on her own yet, so there was some frustration with that. Otherwise, she seemed to love the zoo. Any exhibit that allowed her to stand at some glass and look at animals was a winner in her book. We spent about 45 minutes total in the aquarium. She was fascinated by all the fish swimming by. I loved watching her experience so many new things. The weather was beautiful and Mom's got in free. It was a great way to spend the day.
