Joe and I have been told many times that we should watch the show Friday Night Lights...that we would love it. So we borrowed the first season from Bob and have spent three nights this week wasting away watching the drama unfold before us. This show is extremely addicting. It's amazing that in half a season (a tv season) one character has been paralyzed, broke up with his cheerleader girlfriend for cheating on him with his best friend, gotten back together with the girl, asked him to marry him and sued his coach. That's just one character and we haven't even made it through season one. My favorite part is how they tease Joe by showing about 2 minutes of football. He thinks he's watching a football show, but really he's addicted to a soap opera. Before long he'll be joining me when I watch DVR's episodes of General Hospital.
If I could only find the words to explain the attraction I have for a 17 year old character (the actor is probably about 30) in a wheelchair.
