So in our school district their are three middle schools. I teach at West, which is generally considered the "poor" school. East is considered the "rich" school. The track coaches at East are the biggest bunch of...well I'm sure you can imagine what I would fill in there. They are extremely arrogant, and always walkinto meets with this huge chip on their sholders like they are hot shit, and every one else can just kiss their asses. They had the nerve to say that since they have four meets this week, they are going to be sending their "reserve runners" to the meet we have with them tomorrow. Are you serious!? Way to send the message that you consider us to be such lousy competition, you don't even have to send your best runners. That kind of attitude makes me want to punch someone in the face. What kind of lesson are you teaching middle school kids when you tell them that another school in their district isn't good enough to warrant sending your best runners. These kids all go to the same high school. It's no wonder when they get there, the kids from our school think their kids are stuck up snobs. The kids can't help what their teachers and coaches have taught them.
If I only had the words to degrade them as much as they have tried to degrade us...
