11 months

This is our last "month" post. I won't be updating every month once Harper turns a year old. This 11th month has been a lot of fun. Harper is all over the house, exploring and learning. She's become obsessed with pencils and pens, so we've been working on what's appropriate to write on and what's not.

She picks up pretty fast, although she loves to test boundaries.

She's babbling all the time, and occasionally she stumbles across the mama sound, and I get so excited, but she just laughs. She definitely knows Dada, and while she uses it all day long, you can tell wen she says it in reference to Joe. We always greet him at the door when he comes home from work and as soon as she sees him come in the gate, she practically shouts "Dada." It's so cute.

The weather has been so nice, so we've been going on a lot of walks. Harper loves them, and looks and points at all sorts of things.

She's been doing some serious assisted steps. She can walk all around the first floor. A few times I've even let go and she can stand on her own. She freaks out though, so I think it will be a little longer before she's brave enough to go on her own.

She has 8 teeth in various stages of growth in her mouth. She's started to use all those teeth to actually take bites out of things. That will be a great thing to learn, then I won't have to chop her food up into small bites anymore.

It's truly amazing all the things that she can do. I've been looking back at some newborn photos and the changes are so big. In 11 months, she's turned into a little person. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to watch her as she continues to grow.
