Although it has been raining buckets around here, my May showers are of the baby and bridal variety. It seems I have a lot of showering to do this month.
This weekend is my sister's bridal shower. I'm hosting this one and we're having a fiesta theme. I've got all the decor, and the menu is planned, but I'm struggling with what to serve for dessert. Anyone out there have a Mexican inspired dessert they can share?
The next two weekends after that I have baby showers. It's so fun that we have some new babies joining our ranks soon. Both ladies are having boys which makes it fun for me to shop in a different section of the baby store.
Hopefully all the nature showers will stop so we can get some more outdoor time.

One time I made cinnamon tortilla chips (tortillas cut, buttered, baked and dusted with sugar cinnamon) with ice cream, chocolate sauce, caramel, nuts, whipped cream. And then add ice cream for kinda sopapias or ice cream nachos.
I like that idea. Let's do that!
