Darn you Yahoo!

So as I logged on the Yahoo today what was I greeted with? Their "Back To School" animation. Each year when I see this on Yahoo, it makes it that more real that summer is over. This summer in particular I will miss tremendously. I've gotten to spend so much great time with Harper and I am really worried about missing things when I go back to work. In that spirit, we started sending her to daycare two days a week until I go back to work just so I'm not bawling on my first day back at work she can get used to it. I've had to keep myself busy all day with chores and errands so I don't break down and just go pick her up.

All that being said, I am excited to go back to work. I love my job, and I am certainly not cut out for a long term stay-at-home mom gig. I'm happy to know that I have lots of 3 and 4 day weekends, along with Christmas break, Spring Break and summers off to spend with my adorable daughter.

Now...I have two more hours to kill before I go pick her up...maybe I'll go to the gym

awwww, I'm sure Harper will be just fine. From what I've been told, it's always harder on the parents :)

Oh it will be here faster then you know it!
Even scarier. They were putting Christmas stuff out at Michaels Craft Store!

Going back to work is bittersweet really. It's good to get out of the house and be around adults and well, simple things like going to the bathroom when you want to. But it's hard to be away too. You will really appreciate the time you get to spend with Harper! Time really flies. I can't believe I've been back to work for almost 2 months already.
